Move beyond static soundtracks

Being both programmers and musicians, we deliver a unique, integrated approach to video game audio by combining custom-composed music and sound effects with a fully implemented Music API.

Instead of providing standalone audio files, our Music API integrates directly into your game’s source code. This allows your development team to control music and sound effects from their code, in real-time, without requiring any knowledge of music theory. Check out the demo below!

With a custom Music API, games deliver responsive, in-the-moment audio that evolves with every player action, creating a fully interactive sound experience.

Hit the play button, then use the Up and Down buttons to change between music parts dynamically.

When you stop clicking Up or Down, the music will begin to vary naturally without changing the intensity level too much.

Normally, the Up, Down and other control signals will be sent by your video game logic. Your developers get full control over when and how to send which control data to the Music API.

7 advantages

  1. High quality custom-made Music API; functionally adapted to what your story needs, mastered and optimized for your target platforms.
  2. No sudo: non-musician developers can take full control of music and sound effect logic but have no way to produce unpleasant musical results.
  3. We integrate with your team, not the other way around. We will implement your Music API in whatever language and SDK your project needs.
  4. Critical thinking included: being both coders and artists at heart, we know and understand that your requirements are not your requirements - we'll get there together along the way.
  5. Support included: we want to work with your developers to hear their feedback and give support directly. We prefer to work alongside them within your existing ticketing system.
  6. Our producers and programmers are available for the entire journey, including after launch, so we can make improvements in point updates.
  7. Royalty-based and royalty-free licensing options available

Embedding dynamic, custom-made music and sound effects using our Music API allows you to make a game that is more artistic, immersive and memorable.

How does this work?

We compose and produce your music in direct collaboration with your art director.

We then integrate the musical and the technical production of your game's music logic and sound effects into a tailor-made Music API for your development environment, so that non-musician developers can easily control how the music will dynamically respond to game events.

We can push directly to your codebase or work with one of your devs to facilitate the integration.

Finally, we're available for continuous feedback and support, preferrably in direct communication with your developers.
